Recently a client came to me because they were feeling guilty about not doing something that they felt obliged to do, and they wanted to make sure they were still living in integrity by declining the request.

The person that was holding the “keys” to my clients behavior, was someone they respected.

My client was feeling manipulated by the statement of “If you want to be successful you would…“.

Purpose of Map – Create your personal awareness of how you think, feel, and emote about a subject…. (This is one aspect of Self-Knowledge):
When you are ready to transform and create a breakthrough about a subject it is important to know what is true for you. We recognize from working with hundreds of clients, and reading a plethora of case studies from universities, psychology, business, and listening to feedback that one of the most effective tools for discovery today is the Mind Map.
Since its explosion onto the scene in the personal growth industry there have been many iterations of the original. Mind mapping has become a business all its own, you can download templates, flow charts, and even buy expensive software now days, to create a Mind Map.
The original idea though still comes from psychology and Sigmund Freud called free association. James Strachey considered free association as ‘the first instrument for the scientific examination of the human mind.ʼ
We use the Mind Map as a way for you to control the information you are asking about, to create a personal map to how your own mind works. The process we have chosen to use is considered a magnetic map, which allows you to recognize how you personally are polarized about a subject. Todayʼs subject is abundance.

Because of my personal situation, and young years experiences, my mind took over my heart.

My Clients Are Awesome!

After taking our class one client told me that they don’t things so personally anymore, they’re no longer reactive and allow others to have their own experience. This allowed them during a recent conflict with an employer to recognize that the employer was in ego. He realized what the employer was saying was honestly the employers’ belief. This created a new situation of peace in their heart even though they were being fired. It was a gift, previously if something like this would have happened the client would have been kicking themselves, and honestly probably would have gone out and gotten drunk. Or the other scenario he pointed out was that he would have held on to the resentment until he made himself physically ill. Today he’s looking forward to a better opportunity for employment. Low and behold it happened… He found his dream job!

This leads us to one of the highest light ethics and codes we share in our classes… let go so something better can come in.

There is always a gift that can be found through Self-Knowledge.

It is true, recently in one of my coaching groups a coach who was offering career coaching, also had a client who was fired. Do you know the same thing happened to his client. He received three offers that were better than the job he “just lost”. Coaching is transforming our planet, clients find inner peace and open up to possibilities that before they would have never seen. They would have been too busy judging the events, people and circumstances to see the gifts, grace and gratitude.

So I want to share with you what has happened to some of my clients who have taken the class

Self-Knowledge is Self-Power

One client decided to let go of the resentment and to stay with his family to “help out” during a rough time. The rough time is over and his is free to move about the planet. They found peace, and opportunity in the end. They now have a much better relationship with their family, and cleared out a lot of long held “stories” to now receive the love that is offered.

One client, discovered her “ability to express herself.” She quit her administration job and opened a yoga process for the blind.

One client, after creating relief from an injury found her spiritual heart and is now offering her “special gift of Intuition along with… practical experience and training in business matters”.

One client, discovered their ability to not allow their “disability” to get in the way of making a difference in the world! She now says “I have been dealt a hand that at times has been the hardest challenge I could ever imagine and at other times has been the best teacher I have known.”

One client, discovered how being her best allows her to see clearly what needs to be said or done to attract new business. We asked the question and she found the answer by letting go of self-criticism which as she says put her “At The Top Of My Game” and attracted new business.

One client had a 6-year dry spell he was an author who couldn’t write a single word on the page. His social anxiety was stopping him, it was through our classes and coaching he opened himself up to begin writing again (which was his goal) and had “no social anxiety going into the Christmas Party”, December 2011.

We had two different companies who were having issues with their staff including “gossip”, bickering, blaming others, general dissatisfaction, complaining, too many sick days, high turn over rates. Our professional clients were ready to resolve their internal issues and work with their employees. This saves them time, money provides stress relief that affects the bottom line. We offer solution-based coaching for a healthier work environment.”

After coaching with our staff one client created such a shift he started a program at his office for others to create empowerment at work. Why is this significant? When we are not happy at work, we love our job but other people’s attitude is getting in the way it can be drudgery to get up and do what we love to do. He found a way to be the change he wanted to be in the world. He did this by offering his company training to let encourage positive employee interaction. Because he was a coach he was able to work with us to create his own program to be the change he wanted to see in the world.

We noticed one amazing thing about our clients. All of them, came to our classes trying to figure out how they could make other do something, they left realizing the power was theirs to be the change they wanted to see. Learning to let go of their “strife” they learned how they could effect their environment to be a conduit of peace.

If you would like to see this shift happen within you, you are not alone. We recognize one other fact, each one of our clients couldn’t do it on their own. They were able to reach out for help, this makes them very courageous in my book! I see people who come to our classes or companies who ask us to design a class just for them as opening up to possibilities that never existed before.

I started by offering Podcasting in 2008. My podcasts were picked up by iTunes in 2009 and I was presented the honor of being New and Notable for several months. I loved it.

I discovered for me, radio interviews were a lot of fun.

In 2009, I was offered an interview on the BlogTalk Radio show: Coaches Corner with The Voice Coach Andrew Poretz. On Coaches’ Corner, Coach Andrew has a conversation with leaders from the worlds of business and personal coaching, transformation and personal development who touch, move and inspire people to action in their lives. Listeners who participate during the live show have an opportunity to ask questions of his guests.

I found out later that my spot hit #1, and today is still one of his top 10 radio spots…

Since then, I have been on dozens of radio shows, typically 6 a year.

Here are my 6-tips about being on the radio…

1. If you are nervous say you are, the host often will help you relax. They are experts at making their guests feel at home. A great way to strip away the nervousness is to research your host. Find out how you can play and interact with them, even if you are discussing something very serious. It creates a rich experience for the audience, and it opens up an opportunity for the audience to know you are approachable.
2. Decide your topic of choice, then write down your bullet points. Stay Conscious and Focused on your topic to allow your audience to clearly understand and stay interested.
3. Take the listeners through a journey of your personal experience about your topic. People love personal stories that they can resonate with in their own experience of life.
4. Offer other resources and experiences besides your own. You are the expert, and it further shows you are, by offering your resources. People want to pick your brain rather than do all the leg work themselves. If they know you have done your homework, and know your topic from several viewpoints it gives them more confidence to talk to you.
5. At the end make sure you clearly let people know, if they want more information about your topic, how they can reach you. Offer them a free gift, consultation or opportunity to register for an event you are producing. Allow them to buy your books, CD’s or other offers you can share to help them expand their knowledge. Be generous, but humble about your offering. Do not over hype your offer, and be truthful for long term loyal followers.
6. Always improve your message. Ask for feedback from friends and experts who will share honestly what they think.

Now this is how I personally use tip #6 IMPROVE YOUR MESSAGE: I ask for your help.
